# AI insights and analysis

Get AI-generated reports, themes, sentiment analysis, and chat-based data exploration from your survey responses.

## Steps

### 1. Go to the Results tab

Open your survey and navigate to the **Results** tab. AI analysis tools are available across the Report, Breakdown, and Chat sub-tabs.

### 2. Generate an AI report

In the **Analysis** sub-tab, generate an AI-powered narrative report that includes executive summaries, per-question analysis, identified themes, and charts. Refine the report through a conversation interface and compare versions over time. Export as PDF, Word, or Excel.

### 3. Review per-question themes and sentiment

In the **Breakdown** sub-tab, view AI-extracted themes with response counts, sentiment breakdown (positive/neutral/negative bar), and written summaries for individual questions.

### 4. Ask questions with AI Chat

In the **Chat** sub-tab, ask natural-language questions about your survey data. For example: "What were the main complaints?" or "Compare satisfaction scores between departments." The AI responds with insights, inline charts, stat badges, and quote blocks — each with citations linking back to the source responses.

### 5. View analysis history

AI analyses and reports are saved with timestamps. You can regenerate analysis as new responses come in and compare with previous versions.

AI insights turn raw survey data into actionable findings. The **Analysis** sub-tab generates a full narrative report with executive summaries, per-question breakdowns, and theme extraction. Refine reports through conversation and export as PDF, Word, or Excel.

The **Breakdown** sub-tab provides per-question analysis: identified themes with response counts, sentiment breakdown (positive/neutral/negative bar), and written summaries. This is especially powerful for open-ended and AI interview questions.

The **AI Chat** sub-tab lets you explore your data conversationally. Ask questions in plain language and get responses with inline charts, statistics, and direct quotes from respondents — all with citations so you can verify every claim against the source data.

Insights can be regenerated as new responses arrive. Each analysis run and report version is saved in a history, so you can track how findings evolve over time.
