# Share and distribute your survey

## Steps

### 1. Share link

Click the **Share** tab, then **Share link**. Copy the direct survey URL. You can set a custom URL slug, customize the link preview (title, description), and select the language version to share.

### 2. QR code

From the Share link section, click **QR Code** to generate and download a QR code image for your survey. Great for print materials, posters, and in-person events.

### 3. Embed on a site

Click **Embed on site** to choose an embed type: **Standard** (fixed container), **Full-page** (fills the viewport), **Popup** (modal overlay with close button), **Popover** (sticky button that opens a sidebar panel), or **Slider** (slide-in panel). Copy the generated code and place it on your website.

### 4. Recruit participants

Click the **Recruit Participants** tab to find respondents. Use **Prolific** to recruit pre-screened, paid participants for academic research. Set target responses, estimated duration, and device requirements directly from the tab. Reward amounts are configured in the [Incentives](https://www.questionpunk.com/support/respondent-incentives) tab.

## Details

QuestionPunk offers multiple distribution methods: shareable links, website embeds (five embed styles: standard, full-page, popup, popover, and slider), distribution links, participant recruitment (Prolific), panel integration (SampleNinja and more), and QR codes.

Shareable links support per-language URLs. If your survey has multiple language versions, each language gets its own link.

**Distribution links** let you create named links with preset URL parameters, language locks, and custom share card metadata. Each distribution link tracks its own analytics (started, completed, abandoned, and completion rate), making it easy to compare performance across channels or campaigns.

The **social share card** section lets you control what people see when your survey link is shared on social media, email, or messaging apps. Customize the template, title, description, logo, colors, and branding toggle. Create multiple share card variants for A/B testing.

Social sharing icons let respondents quickly share your survey on LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, WhatsApp, email, and Telegram.
