Why connect it

Skip the copy and paste into a survey builder.

Without a connector, an assistant writes your questionnaire as text, and you rebuild it question by question in a survey tool.

With the QuestionPunk connector, it builds the study in your account instead, with real question types, required questions and display logic. It saves a draft you can open in the editor and check before anything goes live.

How to connect

Add one URL and approve access.

About five minutes in Claude or ChatGPT. Claude Code takes two commands.

1Step 1

Add

Paste the connector URL.

Add https://app.questionpunk.com/api/v1 as a custom connector and name it QuestionPunk. The steps for each assistant are below.

2Step 2

Approve

Sign in to QuestionPunk.

Sign-in uses OAuth, so there is no API key to copy. The consent screen lists what the assistant will be able to do, and you click Approve connection.

3Step 3

Ask

Start with a test request.

Try “Verify my QuestionPunk connection, then create an unpublished draft called Onboarding feedback.” The draft appears with your other studies.

What it can do

54 tools, from first draft to results.

It can create a study or start one from a template, add and edit questions, set display logic on a draft, change the welcome and thank-you screens, and publish when you ask. Publishing returns the participant link and the editor link. It can also test a live website with AI personas: each persona tries your tasks in a real browser, and the findings come back in the chat.

With permission to read responses, it can also pull response counts, single responses, reports, cross-tabs and exports. It won’t answer a survey as a participant or buy participant recruitment, and it can’t add a language to a study.

  • “Start a draft from the customer churn template and make every question required.”
  • “Show question 2 only to people who answered No to question 1.”
  • “Publish it and give me the participant link.”
  • “How many responses so far? Cross-tab satisfaction by plan.”
  • “Export the responses as a CSV.”
Access

It gets only the access you approve.

The consent screen lists what the assistant may do, such as read your research, create, edit and publish studies, and read research responses and reports. If you didn’t grant a permission a tool needs, the tool still appears, and calling it asks you to reconnect and approve that permission.

Disconnect any time in Settings > Integrations > Connected apps. That stops further access. It doesn’t delete what the assistant already received.
