How AI credits work

What AI credits pay for, how many each plan includes, and how to buy more.

AI credits pay for the AI work in your studies, such as AI interviews, voice interviews, synthetic testing and AI analysis. 1,000 credits equal $1 of AI usage. Responses and AI credits are separate allowances.

Steps

  1. Check your balance
    Click your profile icon, then go to Settings > Billing. The balance card shows how many credits you have left, split into free monthly credits and credits you bought.
  2. See what uses credits
    Text AI, such as interview follow-ups and analysis, is charged by model and by the number of tokens used. Voice interviews are charged per minute by model, with a 30-second minimum.
  3. Buy more credits
    On the Billing page, click Buy more credits and choose an amount. Credits you buy don’t expire. Your plan’s monthly credits are used first.
  4. Cap what one survey can spend
    Set an AI budget cap in the survey’s settings to limit its AI spending.

Monthly allowance: The Free plan includes 3,000 credits ($3) a month and Pro includes 25,000 credits ($25) a month. Enterprise includes custom AI credits.

The monthly allowance resets to your plan’s amount every month. Unused monthly credits don’t carry over.
