Before you start

Save the survey or concept test first and make sure you can edit it. Your Google connection must be able to access the images. Connecting an account does not automatically grant QuestionPunk access to every file in its Drive.

Steps

  1. Open the Google Drive source

In the concept image import area, expand More sources → Google Drive.
  2. Connect your Google account

Use Connect Google Drive, or open Settings → Integrations. Complete the Google authorization flow, return to the concept test, and check the connected account. Use Recheck connection if needed.
  3. Preview the folder

Paste the folder ID, which is the part after /folders/ in its Drive URL, into Folder ID. Choose Preview images. Check that the returned images belong in this concept test.
  4. Import and verify the variants

Choose Import to concept test. Check the imported count and the resulting variants. Review names and images before sharing the test; the preview grid may show only the first 12 images.

Details and limitations

This imports image files, not Google Docs, Slides or an entire folder hierarchy. Folder import is capped at 50 images. Check the final variant count rather than assuming every file imported.

Check the result

The imported images appear as concept variants that you can review before collecting responses.

If something goes wrong

If no images appear, check the account, folder ID and the connection’s access to those files. Do not assume a shared folder link grants application access. If Drive access cannot be resolved, download the images yourself and use the concept image upload area. If the survey is not saved, save it before importing.
