Surveys can be configured to retain data for a custom period. After expiration, data is deleted unless you request retention extensions.

Export important datasets before changing retention settings to avoid accidental loss.

Steps

  1. View retention
    Open Survey → Settings → Data retention.
  2. Set policy
    Configure retention length and whether to auto-delete.
  3. Export before delete
    Schedule exports if you need to keep data longer.
