Use webhooks to connect Zapier, Make, and other apps

Send QuestionPunk events to Zapier, Make, or your own systems with webhooks or the REST API.

QuestionPunk does not have a Zapier or Make app. Use webhooks and the REST API to connect those platforms or your own systems.

Before you start

Decide which events you want to send and where they should go. Have the destination webhook URL ready before you add the endpoint.

Steps

  1. Open Settings > Integrations

    The Zapier and Make cards in Settings > Integrations only link to those platforms. They do not create a connection. Use a webhook instead.

  2. Create a webhook

    In Settings > Developer > Webhooks, add an endpoint and select events such as response completed or survey published. In Zapier, use a "Webhooks by Zapier" catch hook URL as the endpoint.

  3. Use Make's webhook module

    In Make, start a scenario with the Webhooks module. Copy its URL and add it as a QuestionPunk webhook endpoint. For other actions, use Make's HTTP module to call the QuestionPunk REST API.

  4. Choose a common workflow

    Use the webhook payload to send responses to spreadsheets, notify a channel, add rows to Airtable, or update other tools. For Slack and Google Sheets, use QuestionPunk's native integrations instead.

Webhooks fire when a response starts or completes, a survey is published or unpublished, or a response limit is reached. Any automation platform that can receive a webhook can use these events.

Zapier and Make both accept incoming webhooks. You can build workflows without a dedicated QuestionPunk app.

After the webhook arrives, the automation platform can pass the data to Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, CRM records, or email tools. QuestionPunk has no native Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, or HubSpot integration.

Both platforms can receive QuestionPunk webhooks or call the REST API, so set up the connection from Settings > Developer.

Check the result

You should see a webhook endpoint saved in QuestionPunk and receiving events in Zapier, Make, or your own system.

If something goes wrong

If nothing arrives, check that you copied the webhook URL into Settings > Developer > Webhooks and selected the event you want to send.
