Steps

  1. Open Learn
    Click Learn in the main navigation sidebar to see the course catalog.
  2. Choose a course
    Three courses are available: Survey Design Sprint (13 levels, ~3 hours — learn survey design by fixing real mistakes), AI for Customer Research (16 levels, ~4 hours — AI-augmented research methods), and Agentic AI for Research (16 levels, ~4 hours — custom AI workflows and synthetic respondents).
  3. Complete challenges
    Each level contains hands-on challenges: fix broken questions, spot problems in survey flows, design research decisions, build survey logic, compare question versions, and write AI interview guides. Earn star ratings for your answers.
  4. Join a classroom (optional)
    If your instructor gave you a class code, enter it on the Learn page to join a classroom. Your progress is shared with the instructor for grading and feedback.

QuestionPunk University is completely free. All three courses are available to every user, with no plan restrictions.

Courses are structured as acts/chapters with multiple levels. Each level combines theory (with video and transcripts) and hands-on challenges that test your understanding.

Challenge types include: Fix the Question (rewrite a flawed question), Spot the Problem (identify issues in a survey), Design Decision (choose the right approach for a scenario), Build Flow (construct survey logic), Side by Side (compare alternatives), Pick Better Version (evaluate rewrites), and Write Guide (create AI interview instructions).

An AI grading system evaluates your responses and provides feedback, so you learn from each attempt.

Educators can create classrooms with a 4-character class code. Students join with the code, and instructors can track progress and grade answers.
