How to read and understand your survey report.

The Results tab shows auto-generated charts for closed-ended questions, response lists for open-ended questions, AI analysis, and cross-tabulation. Learn how to navigate and use each section.

Steps

  1. Open the report
    Navigate to the Results tab in your survey. You'll see summary stats at the top (total participants, completions, average time taken), a question sidebar for navigation, and charts/response data for each question.

  2. Review charts
    Charts are automatically created for multiple-choice, rating, opinion scale, and other structured questions. Bar charts show response distribution with counts and percentages.
  3. Read open-ended responses
    Open-ended and AI interview responses are listed with timestamps and respondent IDs. Scroll through to read individual answers.
  4. Use AI analysis
    Click the AI Analysis button on any question to generate theme extraction, sentiment analysis, and a written summary. See AI insights for details.
  5. Tag and annotate responses
    Use respondent codes to tag responses with colored labels and add internal comments for your team. Codes and comments appear in the response detail panel on the right side.
  6. Cross-tabulate
    Use cross-tabulation to compare answers across different questions and find patterns.

Each survey generates a report automatically once responses are collected. The Results tab includes summary stats, charts, and response lists.

Charts are automatically created for structured question types, making it easy to see response trends at a glance.
