Steps

  1. Open survey settings
Click the Settings button in the survey editor to access scheduling options.
  2. Set an open date
Choose a date, time, and timezone for the survey to start accepting responses. The survey will automatically open at the scheduled time.
  3. Set a close date
Choose a date, time, and timezone for the survey to stop accepting responses. After this time, the survey link will show a closed message.
  4. Publish the survey
Publish the survey with scheduling enabled. The survey will not accept responses until the open date, even though it is published.

Scheduling lets you prepare and distribute your survey link in advance while controlling exactly when responses are accepted.

Both open and close dates support timezone selection, so you can schedule for any region regardless of where you are.

Combine scheduling with response limits to cap the number of submissions within your collection window.

Other useful settings: enable a progress bar so respondents know how far they are, set a completion redirect URL to send respondents to a custom page after finishing, and configure cookie consent prompts when required by your organization.
