Coverage: About 76,000 syllabi from about 3,900 institutions, gathered from public course pages. Most institutions are in the United States, with some abroad. Course years run from the 1990s to 2026, most of them 2004 or later.
Why this data is different
Syllabi are posted one at a time on thousands of separate course pages, as PDF, Word and web pages, each laid out differently. This set gathers them in one place, checks that each document really is a syllabus, and puts every one into the same fields.
How it is collected

Syllabi are gathered from public university course pages and syllabus repositories.

Each document is checked to confirm it is a syllabus, then parsed into course, level, term, department, textbooks, weekly topics and the software it names.

Instructor names and contact details are removed before delivery. Every row keeps its source URL.
