View templateFrequently asked questions
- What opens when I use a usability template?
- An editable usability study with ordered tasks, post-task questions, and a final debrief. Screen sharing is enabled and the moderator observes without giving task hints. Add a target URL to each task and review the settings before launching.
- Do the templates include a website or prototype?
- No. Supply your own website or prototype URL and replace the bracketed scenario details. Use sandbox accounts and test data for tasks that change account state or approach a purchase.
- Are success criteria automatically graded?
- The criteria shown on each template page are guidance for the researcher. Define acceptable outcomes before testing, then review the task evidence and participant explanations against them.
