QuestionPunk is an AI-powered survey and research platform that turns traditional surveys into adaptive conversations. Describe your research goal and get a complete survey draft, run AI-moderated interviews with follow-up questions, flag suspicious responses, and generate AI reports from the results. It covers both qualitative and quantitative research.

Start with a description, template, blank study, or imported questionnaire. You can try a guest draft before signing up. Add questions and check the flow in Preview. To keep and publish a guest study, complete the offered sign-up or sign-in flow, review the Publish confirmation, then copy the participant link to invite respondents.

Yes. Describe your research goal in plain language and QuestionPunk drafts a complete survey with appropriate question types, ordering, and AI follow-up logic. You can then customize before publishing.

Use Add Question in Build to see the available types. Choose multiple choice or a scale for structured answers, short or long text for open answers, and AI interviews for adaptive text or voice follow-ups. Media, verification, research-method, and flow-control blocks are also available. The question and block types guide explains the choices.

AI interviews conduct adaptive conversations with respondents. The AI asks follow-up questions based on what the respondent says, probing for clarity and depth. You control the personality, tone, model (choose from Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, and other providers), and, for text interviews, the question mode (fixed count, AI decides when to stop, or time-based). Voice interviews are also supported and run for a set time.

Yes. Use Preview to check the participant flow and synthetic testing to rehearse with AI personas. Then pilot with real people to check understanding, accessibility, and completion time. Synthetic answers are simulations, not evidence from real participants.

Use the survey language menu to see the current supported languages and add translated versions. Text and voice have different language support. For voice, check the selected transcription, conversation, and speech providers, and pilot the language before recruitment.

Publish your survey first, confirm publication, then copy the participant link. Send the same link by email, text message, or group chat; each person submits their own answers. The Share section also offers QR codes, website embeds, and participant recruitment.

Yes. In Results → Responses, export response rows as Excel or CSV. Status, quality, real/synthetic response type, date, revision, and wave filters apply; respondent-code and answer-content filters do not. Check the downloaded file before analysis or sharing. Build exports the questionnaire; Questions exports charts and presentations; Report exports the narrative report.

QuestionPunk flags behavioral signals such as unusual typing or response timing so you can review responses. Flags are not proof of fraud, and no flags do not prove validity. Review answer content and context before excluding a response.

Your account’s Settings > Subscription & Billing shows your plan, AI credit balance, and available changes. Every plan has unlimited surveys and responses; AI credits are a separate monthly allowance.

Yes. The Participants page lets you create named lists of real respondents (with email, phone, and notes) and track participation across surveys. Reusable synthetic personas for testing live on the separate AI Personas page. Use lists to organize recruitment panels.

Yes. Respondent codes let you assign colored labels to responses for categorization and filtering. Codes are survey-scoped and can be included in CSV and XLSX exports. You can also add internal comments to any respondent, visible to your team with timestamps and attribution.

Yes. Generate API keys from Settings > Developer to access surveys, responses, and other resources programmatically. You can also register webhook endpoints to be notified when responses start or complete and when surveys are published, unpublished, or reach a response limit. Native integrations with Slack, Google Sheets, and GitHub (pull images into Concept Test) are available from Settings > Integrations, and webhooks can feed automation tools such as Zapier and Make. Native CRM completion sync is also available when the provider connection is enabled in your environment; connect the account and then enable each owned survey separately.

Yes. Configure tracking pixels and event mappings in survey Settings > Integrations. Test the published participant link; pixels do not run in Preview, require participant cookie acceptance, and are disabled when Minimize IP and location data is on.

Yes. Activate a diary study, then enroll identified participants through a completed intake or first-wave response. Each enrolled participant gets a unique smart link for later waves. A compliance grid tracks completion. Start in survey Settings > Responses > Repeat as a diary study.

Yes. Add a Usability test question for AI-moderated tasks with screen sharing and post-task ratings. Screen sharing works in supported desktop browsers and the Android app flow; it is unavailable in iPhone or iPad browsers. Task video clips require recording to be enabled for the session.
